Permitted Development
Some proposals do not require the specific grant of planning permission, but are ‘permitted development’. Some of these applications will require the submission of a ‘prior notification’ application to the Council. Lander Planning can advise you of your property’s permitted development rights and guide you through the process. Examples of permitted development can include:
- Extensions to properties
- Agricultural buildings
- Changes of use, including:
- Agricultural use to dwellinghouses
- Commercial use to dwellinghouses
- Storage, distribution or light industrial uses to dwellinghouses
- Offices to dwellinghouses
- Agricultural use to flexible commercial use
