Lander Planning has secured consent at appeal for an open fronted car port and store in the countryside, adjacent to an oast house. The Inspector agreed that the oast building was not a ‘non-designated heritage asset’ and that the proposal would not cause harm to the oast.
The Inspector agreed that the car port would be a subordinate structure which would not readily be seen from public vantage points.
